DateBound is an independent free dating site and discussion community. This page explains who we are, how the site is put together, and the age policy that applies to every page here.
Our 18+ age policy
DateBound is for adults aged 18 or over. Some areas of this site discuss adult dating, cam sites and sex chat in frank terms. If you are under 18, this site is not for you and you should leave now. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the community, and we remove accounts and posts as soon as we become aware of them.
If you arrived here by answering “No” at our age gate, that was deliberate — we would rather send you somewhere with the rules written out than nowhere at all. Parents and guardians who want to restrict access to adult material can use built-in controls on most devices, or filtering tools such as those supplied by their internet provider.
What this site is
DateBound has three parts. The city guides cover free dating in a specific place — how the local dating pool tends to behave, where people meet, and what tends to work in an opening message. The community forums are member discussion threads where people compare dating sites and apps, argue about which free tiers are still worth using, and warn each other about the ones that are not. The guides section covers recurring questions in longer form.
How our content is produced
City guides are written to a house structure and reviewed for accuracy of the general advice; they describe how dating tends to work in a place rather than claiming inside knowledge of individual venues. Forum threads are member discussion. We do not present either as professional relationship advice.
How we make money
Some links on this site point to other dating platforms, including sites we are connected with. Those links do not change what members write in the forums, and no platform can pay to have a thread edited or removed.
