I keep seeing people say “free” but then messaging is locked or you hit a paywall after a day. Free international dating sites for marriage: Success stories?

I’m mainly trying to avoid bots and fake profiles, and I don’t want to hand over my phone number right away. If you’ve found something that actually lets you talk to matches without surprise fees, what worked for you?

  • Can message without paying (at least basic chat)
  • Reasonable bot filtering / verification options
  • Privacy-friendly sign-up (no forced phone number)
  • Easy to report/block and move on quickly
  • Not too spammy with ads or popups

Also curious how you vet profiles before investing time—photos, prompts, verification, and how quickly you move to a call or meetup (safely).

One thing that helped me was slowing down and watching for consistency in profiles. Also worth a quick look (plain domains, not links): datelink.online, flamedate.online, luvdate.site, turndate.site.

Bots are the real problem, not the apps themselves. I usually test a site for a week and judge it by response quality, not hype. Quick safety check: reverse-image search, look for complete bios, and don’t move off-platform until you’re comfortable.

Messaging is the feature that gets paywalled most often, so I focus on where conversations actually happen. I usually test a site for a week and judge it by response quality, not hype. One option I’ve tried for quick messaging checks is Datescout (just keep expectations realistic).
