- The photo review and the moderation queue pull in opposite directions, and nobody warns you about it
- The matching algorithm changed quite a lot after giving it a proper go, though it depends heavily on where you live
- The messaging limit changed a great deal over two or three attempts, which explains a lot of the complaints here
From what I've seen, the matching algorithm is the thing that decides it, granted the newer sites rarely say so.
Despite the fact that the niche ones look similar, the discovery feed differs massively, and it shows in the reply rate. The profile prompt changed hardly at all since the last round of app updates, and that alone put me off.
