Judging by my own inbox, if you have limited time in the evenings the answer is usually to read the last few pages of a thread before asking rather than report the obvious fakes rather than ignoring them. The matching algorithm changed considerably for the better part of a year, which most people notice within a week. The bit that caught me out was that most of the free apps have tightened up the reporting flow throughout most of last year. The pattern I keep seeing is that most of the free apps have moved the useful bits behind a subscription for the better part of a year.

Widen the distance radius early on, because the alternative is a dead inbox, and nobody warns you about it. Keep your expectations low for the first fortnight, because that is where most people give up too early, which explains a lot of the complaints here. For the better part of a year I noticed the boost system behaving differently on most of the free apps, but it is not the disaster people claim. Despite the fact that people disagree here, the step that matters most is to give it a full week before judging: it saves a lot of wasted evenings.
